Built using an autoclave construction method that fuses the outsole to the midsole for a streamlined look, these experimental Nike Drop Type LX Shoes have wolf grey coloured synthetic uppers with dark grey suede overlays and bright total orange accents. Inspired by classic tennis shoes, the low-profile is enhanced by an exaggerated exposed foam tongue which has a total orange top side and cushioned underside for comfort. An extended rubber toe cap has been added for durability, with debossed suede on the outer edge and white cotton laces above which ensure a secure fit with a stylised Swoosh tick printed across the top of the tongue. Ventilation eyelets have been added on either side of the foot as well as subtle ‘N.354’ lettering which signifies the influences behind the model.
Wrapping around the back of the heel towards the toes, an additional black rubber overlay adds an extra element to the design whilst a total orange coloured leather heel tab sits above with a repeat of the stylised Swoosh tick in black. A colour matched wolf grey outsole completes the design with a herringbone tread pattern underfoot for quality grip.
